No Drainage Hole — Tips for Happy Plants
Because the Ripple Planter doesn’t have a drainage hole, it works best with drought-tolerant plants like succulents, cacti, and air plants. For other plants, we recommend one of the following:
- Place your plant in a standard nursery pot and sit it inside the Ripple Planter as a decorative sleeve. This is the easiest option and protects the planter
- Add a layer of pebbles or activated charcoal at the base to assist with drainage before adding soil
- Water sparingly and always check that roots are not sitting in water
